TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
